Dameyon- When you usually mention the homeless community, automatically the thoughts of drugs, alcohol, and beggars come to mind. This guy spends his day from one park to the next trying to keep cool, but when the sun finally goes down he gets his party on with the rest of the people of Tucson. “This is the only time I look like everyone else.”

ReplyDeleteI really like all of your photos but this one to me seemed the least artistic to me. It might have been cooler to take it from a different point of view or highlight something specific about the man. The photo as it is now doesn't make you look at him any differently than if he were sitting on the street corner. I just think something is missing that could make this photo excetional like your others.
This picture does a fantastic job of portraying an image that conveys something very deep. We usually tend to separate ourselves from the homeless, not considering ourselves the same or equal, for a lack of better words. But we realize we are all the same, just getting through the day, and enjoying our time as much as possible.
